For this shot of Kawalski chopping up an ice block into a Christmas tree, I painted nine different versions of the ice for
the needed progression. Since the style of this short was very particular, surfacing and rendering this particular object
would have taken longer than if someone were to just paint it. I had a blast working with the effects department on this, who
then had to create all the chipping away of ice and such.
