This is another character from Tad Williams' Shadowmarch. One particular scene really struck me as an interesting setting to create visually. It is right when Chert explains to Chaven what has brought him to his abode. They both look to see if Flint is fudgetting with any breakables, only to find him done looking, sitting quietly in the hazy light staring at the moonlit patterns coming from the constellations in the hanging tapestries..
